Our Mission
The Southwest Guilford Youth Football and Cheer Inc. was founded in 2011 for the purpose of developing, fostering, and generating a local Football and Cheerleading program. The Jets work to promote the development of leadership, character, sportsmanship, tolerance, discipline and athletic ability within our athletes. Through our football and cheer programs we strive to nurture youth fitness, volunteerism, and a lifelong love of sports. We will have football and cheer teams serving children from ages 5 to 12 years of age. Additionally, the Southwest Jets shall serve as the central feeder system to the Southwest Middle and High School Cowboys football and cheerleading programs. Our program is a non-profit and completely run by volunteers. We strive to operate as a family and to provide a safe, comfortable and fun environment for all involved.
From Jets to Cowboys
The Jets are proud to be the one and only feeder program to the Southwest Guilford Cowboys. We play all our home games at the Southwest Guilford High School field thereby building a connection to the Southwest community at an early age. The head coaches of both the middle school and high school football programs are members of our board of directors, and help ensure our players are properly trained and have the potential to graduate from Jets to Cowboys one day. The Jets appreciate the support of Southwest Middle School, Southwest High School, and the entire community.
